Feedback provided to the tutee: Since reading through Mr. Putter and Tabby has seemed to be a successful approach, we continued with Mr. Putter and Tabby Take the Train. As usual, I tried to focus on fluency, but after each page we would review any vocab or pronunciation Je-Ah was unsure about. Then we discussed the book.
Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: Richard Scarry is a children's illustrator for American kids, but his books are SO good for ESL because they mostly focus on illustrations + vocab words/definitions. I sent Je-Ah several pages on cars, trains, and transportation.
