Topic: Grammar and punctuation worksheets.

Feedback provided to the tutee: We reviewed the feedback her teacher gave her on two articles in which she needed to correct punctuation and grammar. We went through the feedback together, breaking down each correction and explaining why her answers were marked wrong. I found another example online, and we went through it together to see if she had a better understanding of capitalization and commas when making corrections. 

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: I learned that sometimes students need a more in-depth breakdown, and once you do that, it is much easier for them to gain more fluency. I also learned that she does not particularly enjoy making punctuation corrections, and I feel like if she was more interested in what she was reading, she would be more motivated to make corrections.
